Publicity - It Can Be a Nightmare!

An amateur theatre's nightmare – You spend months putting together a production, with everyone throwing their heart and soul into each aspect of it. Opening night comes and (ye gods!) there are only ten people in the audience. Oh, the humiliation!

Planning publicity "somewhere along the way" is not an option. Once you go into production, time becomes your scarcest commodity. By laying down a publicity plan ahead of time, you allow yourself to concentrate on other issues and reduce last minute scurrying. The possibilities for publicity are limited only by your imagination and budget.  HCP is fortunate to have several people who work hard at doing this right from the start! 

Still room for people to help though!  

HCP relies on 'bums in seats' in the main for its funds, so this area is vitally important to us!  We hope to see your bum in one of our seats!
